This HTML5 and CSS3 course is for you, even if you have no prior programming experience.

HTML5 and CSS3 are essential languages of the Internet. In our hands-on basic course, you'll learn how to create responsive websites that display optimally on all devices. In addition to basic content, we also cover specific applications, such as creating simple web-based games.

Even if you work with content management systems like WordPress or Joomla, you'll benefit from HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge to make adjustments. You'll likewise learn to understand and optimize generated HTML5 code from other programming languages.

With many examples and workshops, conducted in pair programming sessions, you will acquire practical knowledge. Our course, carefully prepared by elite lecturers and web developers, offers a balanced mix of theory and practice.

The number of participants is limited to eight to ensure optimal supervision. Modern seminar rooms and technology are at your disposal throughout the course. For your well-being, drinks and a hot lunch are included. This allows you to concentrate fully on your training.

On the first day, we quickly teach you the basic framework of HTML5 code and how to use CSS3 for formatting. You'll learn the important HTML commands (tags) for creating simple web pages, how to use developer tools, and how to format your page content with internal or external CSS3 files. We teach you important basics of HTML5 and CSS3 and show you how to test and validate HTML code. After the first day, you'll already be able to code responsive web pages with HTML5 and CSS3.

What will you learn on the second day?

Our goal is to create responsive websites that display correctly on all devices. Therefore, we will expand your CSS knowledge to include elements such as the CSS box model, CSS3 media queries, and Responsive Web Design. Your HTML5 skills will also be expanded to include, for example, creating different types of lists and setting links. After this day, you will be able to design your website in a responsive way. You'll also get an introduction to JavaScript so you can create dynamic content.

What will you learn on the third day?

On the last day, we will devote ourselves to advanced HTML5 elements for large-scale projects and sophisticated websites. This includes creating page layouts with different layouts such as box and grid layouts, working with images and videos, creating tables and forms, and advanced CSS3 transitions such as filters and animations. Finally, we'll give you recommendations for best design practices and round out the course with a final project. This ensures that you put into practice what you have learned and understand the relationship and interaction between different elements. Enjoyment and success will accompany you through this course.

Of course, as a participant of this course you will receive a certificate. Prerequisite for this is the complete participation in all course units and programming tasks.

The course takes place in our modern and top-equipped training rooms. We provide each participant with a modern laptop during the training. Drinks are provided by the Coding Academy. Access to the material will be provided at the latest on the first day of the course

The course takes place online. You only need a computer with Internet access; however, for some courses it is necessary to install the software used; this is specified in the description of the respective course. Access to the material will be provided at the latest on the first day of the course.
