This HTML5 and CSS3 course is structured according to the teaching method trademark RAED-METHOD, which is registered in the patent office and has been tested at the LMU for more than 10 years. The theory is reduced to the essentials and the focus is on practice. The goal is that after this training you will be able to understand, adapt and completely rewrite HTML5 and CSS3 code in running projects. We don't want you to be lectured only the complete theory about HTML 5 and CSS3 and forget everything in a few weeks, but that you learn the essential basics in a way that you can immediately use them in practice in your running projects. Knowing instead of being able to do is our guiding principle. Therefore, the course is based on many illustrative examples and for each topic there are small programming tasks that you work on together in small homogeneous groups. This exciting course combines the joy of learning with a lot of new knowledge.

Description
HTML5 is the language of the web. With HTML5 and CSS3 alone, you can build visually appealing, responsive websites with basic features. Responsive means, by the way, that the pages are displayed on all devices such as computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. That alone would be almost enough. But for us it is not enough. In our HTML5 and CSS3 basic course we even go into simple web-based games.
Most web developers nowadays work with content management systems like WordPress, Joomla or Drupal. With these, responsive websites are of course possible. However, HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge is an advantage even with such CMS if you want to customize content, images or formatting. Also in the area of front-end development there are many technologies that generate HTML5 code from a certain code in a programming language, e.g. Java Server Face (JSF), Vaadin or GWT (Google Web Toolkit). Even there, basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 is very helpful to understand and improve the generated HTML code.
The HTML5 with CSS3 course teaches you step by step and practice-oriented all important graphical elements of HTML5 and their formatting with CSS3. Then you will learn how to embed JavaScript or PHP code within HTML5 segments. Using many examples and workshops you will learn in pair-program sessions with other participants how to build, edit and modify complete pages with HTML5 and CSS. This allows optimal exchange of experience and works according to the 4 eyes principle. Which ensures a lot of joy, fun and success for the participants.
The course is carefully prepared and conducted by lecturers at elite universities together with professional web developers. Theory meets practice! Many examples together with exciting workshops accompany you in the 3 days course and provide a balanced mix. A maximum of eight participants ensures optimal support. Modern seminar rooms, laptops and techniques are available to you throughout the course.
For your well-being, drinks and a hot lunch are also included throughout the day, so that you can concentrate only on the essentials, take on the HTML5 training and on your success in doing so.
What do you learn on the first day?
You will quickly learn the basic framework of HTML5 code and how to use CSS3 for formatting. You'll learn the important HTML commands (tags) for creating simple web pages, how to use developer tools and how to format the content of your page with internal or external CSS3 files. You will learn the basics of HTML5 and CSS3 and how to test and validate HTML code. After the first day you will be able to program beautiful websites with HTML5 and CSS3.
What do you learn on the second day?
We would like to create responsive websites, so they should be displayed correctly on all devices. For this we will learn more CSS elements like CSS Box Model, CSS3 Media Queries and Responsive WD and extend our HTML5 knowledge by creating lists of all kinds like Unordered or Ordered List as well as links to other websites, to media files and email links. After this day you will know how to make your website responsive. A small introduction to JavaScript will also be given on this day, so that you can also realize dynamic content.
What do you learn on the third day?
On the last day you will learn advanced HTML5 elements so that you can realize large projects and quite sophisticated websites with it. This includes page layout with the different layouts such as box, and grid layouts, working with images and videos, creating tables and forms as well as advanced CSS3 transitions such as filters and animations and finally we give you the best practice in design guidelines and close this exciting training with a final project that ensures that you put into practice what you have learned and also learn the relationships and interactions between different elements. Joy and success will accompany you in this course.
